It's all about the 4 best teams at that time and having the right narrative in order to make a jump over another team.
LSU's formula:
Win out
JD Heisman
Greg Brooks and Jimmy Lindsey and how difficult those situations were on the team early in the year, especially defensively. Leads to the "they are a different team now" talking point.

I’m waiting until after next week before I start asking these questions.
I do think they are a solid team but I want to see this final tough stretch. Long way to go.
