Hurley’s stats this year are awful

Yea and I’m not really a “stat” guy for high school kids, I never get to watch 99% of our recruits’ games… but 51 completions in 99 attempts??? Eeeek.
He can pen a nice letter though.

2-3 vs top 10 competition....
Over that same period of time Saban, the best ever, is 1-2 against top 10 competition. Just sayin.

His last class was good. This one is mediocre so far. Doesn't have top flight shelf guys.
It's really weird. He has unlimited signings he needs to process more players, cut the fat off, and take advantage of those limited time rules.
He's not though and I'm not impressed with his recruiting overall. Biggest issue is his staff isn't carrying their weight especially on the defensive side. We don't need to retain anyone on that staff after this season. They all suck in recruiting and coaching. Steeples is not what we thought he'd be.
Universities like Florida, TAMU, etc. can easily out recruit BK and staff right now when they have less of a selling point than LSU right now. It really makes you wonder. Or really, it doesn't because we know what it is. Contrary to belief on this board, money is not an issue for LSU. So, the problem goes back to BK and what his staff want and his decision not to spend money on the top shelf athletes because he doesn't want divas on his roster. He's going to find out real fast ND athletes are not going to win you the SEC and he's also ignoring you can pay athletes and keep a good culture. See Georgia.
He's an old dinosaur that really isn't a good culture fit for the younger generation which is why his recruiting is below par on LSU standards.
