Those of us who donate for season tickets have no problem with the current system. I guess anyone can have a shot if they have the dollars and are not a "just became a tigah fan".

I have a problem with no lottery and I am a season ticket holder.

no problem with not having a lottery and i'm also a season ticket holder. been a taf member for years and it shouldn't be fair for someone who hasn't donated to get tickets before me.

Boy, you guys are arseholes. Here are some people just trying to figure out how to get a ticket, and you insult their devotion to the team.
Get off the high horse, and welcome any fans that don't know the system with a sincere explanation.
Most fans can't afford season tickets. And yes, you can be a fan and not be able to afford tickets... it is Louisiana...lotsa poor folk from da bayous.

Coon, I'm with you...
LSU should of stated there would be no lottery for tickets....I can imagine several folks joined TAF to at least get started..with the hopes of possibly scoring tix this way....at least there is a chance....I think this hurts them in the long run though.

We've been season ticket holders since 1997. No question of our fanhood. In 2003 we were some of the fortunate ones who got 2 tickets to the BCSCG .. THROUGH THE FREAKING LOTTERY.
Yes, it would be awesome if LSU put aside say 500 tickets for a lottery.
In 2007, I bought reserves ... did the same thing this year and will pay dearly for the reserve + the ticket.
Yes, I'm in favor of a lottery for season ticket holders.

Why would LSU mess with the process that won the 2003 and 2007 BCS. I assume that the football gods made sure that "loud" LSU fans won the lotteries in 2003 and 2007. The one tenth of a decible that will be the difference between winning and losing is in the balance. In the earthquake game, one tenth of a decible less and the auburn secondary is able to check into proper coverage.
