That all depends on how big of an LSU fan you are and what your particular mentality is.
Personally, I don't watch games on TV. Too nerve wracking. If I can't be there in person, I'd rather just listen on the radio or do something else for 3-4 hours to keep my attention totally away from the game until it's over and the post-game comes on.
Taping the game (For all those that can't attend in person) is a good option for many. That might save objects from being broken or prevent holes in the wall while watching/listening LIVE on TV or radio.

I really don't get how people do this. How about you just hibernate for the entire football season then wake up to see our record at seasons end? The whole point of being a fan is to WATCH THE TEAM!

A Lot of our fans follow football the way that most would follow say womens basketball. They are happy when we win, keep up with the game from a boxscore standpoint, but will bitch and moan when we dont win.
It is interesting to read this board and the criticism of the womens basketball program. The fans dont care enough to actually go watch a game but they unload on the coach if they find out we are not winning.
It is the same thing for football just at a different level. Basically instead of taking the journey with the team during the season, experiencing the ups and downs they stay quiet while things are going well, but get pissed when their entitlement of a championship football team is taken from them.
