That all sounds familar. In fact, thats all I saw on the rant all summer talking about how much better this team would be than last year's. Now, we're already hearing about how much better next year's team will be than this one and the season is only half over. This is like a Cubs message board.

LSU can very easily end up 10-2, and the chances are much better of 10-2 than 8-5.

This just shows your ignorance...have you watched snead and ole miss this year? Snead has been terrible the pressure(not defensive pressure but outside pressure) has gotten to him....hes very streaky and came into LSU very hot last year...that wont be the case this year...theres a reason why he couldnt hack it at Texas

Look Mr. Sammy, the first 4 years were with Saban's recruits. I hope you are right and LSU goes 10-2 or 11-1, but looking at the way we have played, that's not realistic. We could easily be 3-3. Bama will beat us with their defense and they will beat Florida in the championship game. Ole Miss will beat us because we cannot pressure the quarterback, and Snead will pick us apart like he did last year. Arkansas may do the same.

Do you not agree that we are better than last year? Yes the offense may have taken a step back but the D has taken a giant leap forward and if you play D like we do you will win a LOT more games then you will lose

+ the season ISNT OVER YET!!!!

yeah, a d that has no sacks. I'm sure McElroy and Snead are just cringing at the thought of the LSU pass rush.

If we go 10-2, I will definitely give Miles credit and admit I was wrong, but I can't see that happening.

Those two statements say all about you that I need to know. We could be 3-3, but we're not. Why are we not? Because of the strength and resolve of this football team? Do you have any idea how much will and desire it takes to make a goal-line stand to preserve the win or bulldoze your way for a touchdown with :46 seconds on the clock to go ahead?

the first 4 years were with Saban's recruits

And the idea that Saban was somehow funneling in more talented players than Miles has is absurd. I was unaware that Miles is a garbage recruiter and that the players we sign out of high school have all been garbage since then. Get real. Our talent-level is as strong now that all the "Saban recruits" have been purged as it ever was.

What has Les Miles done to deserve such blind allegiance?

Have you seen the sloppy play his entire tenure?

Have you seen the extremely poor time management his entire tenure?

Have you seen the lack of discipline shown by this team his entire tenure?

We may stay at the Tubberville-Auburn level under Miles... but he doesn't have much upside.

He didn't have that blind allegiance until Saban got hired at Alabama. Then it was like big group hug time and "we might as well support him and talk shite about the other guy since he isn't coming back."

We give up 14.5 pts per game...the only stat that matters...sacks are nice but if we get one sack then give up a TD the next play does it really matter?

You cant tell these morons that. Les Miles is great.

They obviously cant see LSU regress back to mediocrity . I am ready for a new hire.
You cant keep blaming the coordinators.

nobody was complaining when we 3-4 losses a year shortly after the dinardo days. who here remebers when it was a big deal for LSU to go 6-5 and just make a bowl game. they'll get it together eventually! we sucked on defense last year...fixed it with chavis....we suck on offense this year....miles knows it needs to be fixed. how, still don't know yet, but I think he fixes it and we're NC contenders next year

I'm curious as what you define as mediocre. 8-4? 9-3? The same types of records that we had before Miles started coaching?

I can't prove this, but I feel like, if Saban hadn't gotten happy feet... we would still have 2 maybe more National Titles... but like I said, I can't prove it.
