The better comeback would be "HEY, EVERYBODY, WE LANDED ON THE MOON!!!" ala Jim Carey in Dumb & Dumber because he just learned something that everyone already knew. I agree "Germans" makes little to no sense. I think it's dumber for a guy to write "Germans" than a guy to post old news. But whatever...
