Sorry to say, this event sold out over a week ago. The alumni assn. in BR asked the ATL chapter to do something for thier traveling tigers so we found two small lots to set up in. We sold out parking and food to local members and some neighboring chapters in NC and TN.

I am setting up in between the campus bookstore and Sanford Stadium.
There will be ample UGA fans (guests from last year who requested we make an appearance as their guests) but I am cooking and their will be plenty of food for anyone in purple and gold.

I just checked the LSU Atlanta Alumni page, the tailgate they are throwing is sold out!!! Never fear, I am bringing my 14 foot enclosed trailer with sound, satellite and food, Cooking Jambalaya!!!! I will be in the parking lot at Clark Central High School, between Henderson Ave and Waddell St. The trailer is white and I will have a big arse balloon flying over with a couple flags underneath! We will be getting in about daylight on Saturday morning since you can't do anything on campus until 7 am on game days!! so i drove around campus today and right by the stadium to check everything out and i plan to do it most of tomorrow but more thoroughly. as soon as i find a spot that i think we can get, ill post it on here.
someone mentioned the clark central high school so i'm gonna go check that out tomorrow as well. it looks pretty far from the stadium but i'll see and let everyone know.

ok my friend just showed me around campus and the stadium...since we have alot of ppl that wanna come, i think our best bet is Clark Central High School...the address is
350 South Milledge Avenue
Athens, GA
this may be our best option bc it has tons of parking and the walk to the stadium is down a hill called Baxter Street. It isnt the shortest walk, but i think everyone could handle it. I plan to go check it out again tomorrow during rhe day and maybe a few other spots just in case and i will keep everyone updated

That's definitely true. From there to the stadium is all downhill. I'll probably start out the day at your tailgate then I have some friends who tailgate on north campus I have to stop by and see, so I'll head that way a couple hours before game time.

For tailgating purposes, the best entrance into Clarke Central is off of Baxter street, kind of the back of the school. I believe the parking is $15-$20 a car. I agree that due to the large amount of people at your tailgate, this would be the best space. Not a bad walk to the stadium, but a bit of a hill on the way back.

yeah i just went drove to the school and checked it out, then drove to the stadium. its not a bad walk at all.
