LSU should have hired him and they may regret it now.

Happy for Mike, but LSU is in good shape with Coach Johnson. Looking forward to beating the Rebels next Spring!

ole miss fans wanted him fired prior to this run they are on. Johnson knocked bianco out last year and will be beating him when he gets his team in place

He was too old to be hired this past season. We should have hired him after Smoke was fired.

But he was extended with a raise and swept us this season. Those are the facts compared to your hyperbolic wish casting and fan melts. The difference between reason and stupidity showed in the result which was a national title today.

He’s killing it in recruiting. This year will tell us a lot.

Actually, Skip should have retired a year earlier and pulled him over from McNeese. He was already a better coach than Smoke Laval.

Screw you. As a player and assistant coach Mike did more for LSU Baseball than you ever have.

frick Bianco. I will never root for another SEC team to win anything in any sport.

I'm all in on the JJ train. I'm glad LSU finally stopped trying to hire from the good ole boys network. This board highlights the problem with LSU's culture in hiring coaches. People here are more obsessed with personalities than a coach who can actually, you know, coach. That's why we got Les Miles and Orgeron instead of building off an X and Os guy in Saban. BK is such a breath of fresh air and so is JJ.

JJ will win a title at LSU maybe multiple. He's building something special now.

No. He needed to go. I'm not going to root for Bianco or Ole Miss though just because he's one of us. Grats on them making an amazing run but with all due respect, frick Ole Piss.

I'm behind the JJ hire 100%.
