Way better than Little who is truly useless and needs to ride the pine even behind Money.
But he(Edwards) should be good for a batter or two.

I doubt we use him again today unless we go extra innings. Even though he only threw 10 pitches he would have 3-4 hours of rest in between pitching.

Man, idk. It’s not really good to get a guy hot then cool all the way down and try to get him hot again in the same day

Ackenhausen, Cooper, Herring, and Money will likely be the guys relied upon tonight. Hopefully Hurd can give us at least 5 or 6.

They do this all the time in the bullpen. Get hot and never come in just to play the next game

By the way, everybody bitched about him putting Hellmers in after Little, saying he basically conceded the game. He may have, but that move may turn out for the best today.
People complaining about Edwards throwing 9 pitches in 7-run game? Imagine putting him in after Little like a lot of people wanted and burning him in a loss. Sometimes it’s best to take a step back and save your bullets in order take 2 steps forward the next day with all of them still at your disposal.
Still, just like yesterday’s loss only counted as 1 and didn’t carry over to the 1st game today, this game won’t necessarily carryover to Game 2 either. Still need to have a good outing from Hurd and put together a bunch of great ABs. I do like our chances, though.
