Games times and network criteria?

Would be curious to know what criteria the NCAA and the network use to determine game times and channel.

I'm gonna assume that if Florida state wins tonight, they will get the 6pm ESPN2 spot and we will get the 5pm espnU slot. If Florida wraps up that series today then we get the 6pm spot.
