Just a quick question. I am taking my 80 year old die hard LSU fan of a Grandma to her first game tomorrow evening and I wanted her to get the full experience. What time is the best time to get to Victory Hill and where is the best spot to stand? Any other info as to what I should take her to would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

The band begins it's march about 2-3 hours before kickoff. As for the best place to be on the hill, I'd say in front of or a little ways past the PMAC going up the hill. There you'll be around the brass of TB for Stadium salute.

The team comes down the hill at 3:55 tomorrow and the band at 4:10.

They’re gonna have to get there earlier than an hour before kickoff if they want to watch the team or band walk down the hill.
And to the OP, I don’t know those exact times. Team probably goes at least 2 hours before kickoff. Band follows shortly after that I believe.

ETA: Thanks guys.

Both of y’all take a shot of jack before y’all leave the house. And be at the stadium around 10:30 are 11! Have a great time.

Go just past the tailgate that's up there. Right where the hill starts. Leave gmaw on the flat part.

As an older fan myself, I would suggest you get temporary TAF passes for the PMAC from the PMAC ticket office. It will be hot and after the walk from where you park, grandma may be ready for some AC and a seat. The GBFTL plays the entire halftime show and you can watch the afternoon SEC game on the big screen.

How much would a TAF pass be?
