Yeah, the offensive talent is clearly there. MSU is a good defensive team, and LSU can hit the ball. There's too many wasted outs though, and pitching depth is still a huge problem. We're just going to have to hope that some pitchers learn to grow into new roles.
The fielding looks very good as well. LSU might not get as high of a fielding percentage as last year's team had, but it will still be better overall defensively, I think.
