It seemed like once he started toward the plate, he half assed it down there. It looked a little weird, but I don't think it met the definite criteria for a balk.

There was def something a little off after the delivery, but I didn't think that was it. And if it was, well frick that guy hard because that's bullshite.

He kinda slowed down on the tail end of his delivery and didn't really follow through very hard. It seemed like once he started toward the plate, he half assed it down there.

This isn't a balk as long as he made a continuous motion towards the plate and threw the pitch.

Well, that's bullshite, but CPM has to do everything to avoid contact with the ump there. It's on him to have enough control to not let that happen.

The ump essentially walked right into Maineri. He was not out of control.

Could have been. The magic word is "cocksucker" right?

I just assumed that had something to do with it, cause there was nothing before that, the wind up looked fine.

Yeah that was my first inclination too. But I just couldn't figure out how it fit within the rule.

Run would have scored on a sac fly anyway.
THIS, didn't friggin matter and we didn't score in the bottom any damned way.

8 lead off hits. Who exactly has been so money lately that we don't have them bunt at some point? While I'm bitching, why not let Bourgois continue in the 9th against 4 right handers? It's not like extra innings was a long shot in this game.

Just a hard friggin game to watch.

What was the count?

The pitch on the balk doesn't count, so it's a completely different situation, and maybe we don't throw the same pitch.

You can't say it doesn't matter, because there's no guarantee it plays out like it did.

It was a shitty call, and they deserve criticism over it

2-0 before the balk. The "balk" pitch was a curve for a strike, but that didn't count.

Good Question. That and the balk/no balk question aside, there some positives to take from this game.

1. Bats came alive tonight. Seem to have awakened from thir recent slumber. We hit their best pretty hard tonight. So we stranded ten. A season this long that's bound to happen eventually.

2. Eades looked like Eades tonight. Feel much better about him going forward.

So Breg's was sleepwalking at short, but how often is that going to happen.

Overall it could've gone either way, and I feel a lot better tonight than I did after the Bama series.

Most important thing of the night. He righted the ship, and in some ways, that's more important than the win (although the two don't have to be mutually exclusive).

Nah, TD says it wasn't a balk. So he's wrong.

This team is not right. They dinked little sissy girl hits at best all night. This has been going on for weeks. Bregman has decided to stop playing baseball and focus instead on grab arse. And whatever daddy Katz is giving baby Katz to drink....stop it STOP IT NOW. He has mailed it in since March 31. And the sweet little LSU coach seems as befuddled as his team. They have been great. But the trend is very disturbing. It only takes a few February type performances in May to leave LSU sitting at home AGAIN. And I am sick of watching other SEC teams go to the CWS instead of LSU. It's not better talent. So it must be coaching.
