I'm perfectly fine with that, but that's just me being selfish. I'm in town for the NCAA Tennis Regional, and unless my team beats Texas in the first round tomorrow, I will not be here Friday night.
We don't play until 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, so I'll stay up as long as it takes to watch LSU play. Since I work in sports right now, it's been a long time since I've seen them play. Last time I went as a fan was when they hosted Texas A&M in a super regional in the early 2000s.

Well, they basically can't start before 9:15 and not after 10:00.....soo...yeah, somewhere around 9:30 hopefully

someone explain to me why there is an SEC rule for this weekend that our series has to be played thursday-saturday. I'm pretty sure that is only the case the last weekend of the year when everyone plays thursday-saturday prior to the SEC tournament. This game is only on thursday because of TV, so I'm not sure there is any rule in place for this weekend that states the game must be played thursday-saturday. The double header, 7 inning game is correct for rainouts, i believe. I know we've had to do that before.
But every other SEC series this weekend is going friday-sunday. I'd be really surprised if there's some rule that would prevent us from playing on Sunday if we had to. Not to mention everyone is done with this semester in school now.

It would create an unfair advantage if we got 4 days to play 3 games when other series dont. Lets say we are tied with Vandy for the SEC lead. We use that 4th day to get in all 3 games. We finish 24-6, they finish 23-6 because they got rained out, that would be unfair to them.
