It's not the quality of at-bats, it's the defensive performance that is the difference. Their freshman 3B saves at least one run on a great play and makes an out, our 3B lets one through his legs to set up an unearned run.

This was supposed to be the game where LSU had the clear advantage on the mound (due to Ojala's health concerns). Tomorrow will be a wash at best and Rice clearly has the edge in a possible Sunday game.
