It seems like the only thing that can really undo Glenn is his control. If he can spot his pitches and his stuff is working, he's really hard to hit.

You know what consistency means right? I saw the Bama game. It was great.

2-1 LSU going to the bottom of the 5th and the top of the order is due up in McMullen, Laird, and Bregman

There are situations that call for these things, and then there is just getting too cute too early. Hit and Run or a bunt there isn't terrible if the other pitcher is dealing, but this guy has struggled to throw strikes.

PM can get way too cute with small ball bullshite at times instead of just letting our players hit. it's very frustrating

oh i agree. there are people that damn if he does, damn him if he doesn't. i've personally always hated small ball, at all levels, in most situations. the only time i am ok with it is if you need one run in the last few innings, in a game where runs don't come easy, and you have a runner on second with no outs. other than that, i think it's dumb to give away outs. and i really don't like more than a few players on our team trying to steal bases.

Don't like that at bat. We have to make him work this inning. Bad approach by McMullen there.

Work this guy. Let's get him to at least 80 pitches this inning.
