It seems like the only thing that can really undo Glenn is his control. If he can spot his pitches and his stuff is working, he's really hard to hit.

There are situations that call for these things, and then there is just getting too cute too early. Hit and Run or a bunt there isn't terrible if the other pitcher is dealing, but this guy has struggled to throw strikes.

oh i agree. there are people that damn if he does, damn him if he doesn't. i've personally always hated small ball, at all levels, in most situations. the only time i am ok with it is if you need one run in the last few innings, in a game where runs don't come easy, and you have a runner on second with no outs. other than that, i think it's dumb to give away outs. and i really don't like more than a few players on our team trying to steal bases.
