I would never have thought that I would be more excited about the future of the basketball program than the football's. I think football will drop behind baseball as well.

Drama Queen? Ban bet that basketball makes the tournament before football makes the playoffs? Better yet, permanent ban bet that Orgeron will never lead LSU to the playoffs.

In what? Baseball has been a better program for 30 years.

LSU basketball has a ceiling of a perennial bubble team and people are creaming their pants over it.

Yea that’s completely wrong. Watch what happens next season with the talent coming in.

Also, baseball had been ahead of football for quite some time now.

Basketball: going up the charts, with a bullet.

Baseball: holding steady.

Football: dropping.like.a.rock.

That doesn't make comparing being selected for the NCAAT to being selected for the CFP any more logical. It's still a dumb comparison

And that ceiling was apparently the Music City Bowl in October

Next year it will be the Music City Bowl, the year after, the Belk, the year after, the Birmingham, and after that, the Independence in crime-ridden Shreveville.

All non-ny6 bowls are fairly equal to me.

OK, I'll change the comparison. Next year the basketball team will be ranked higher than the football team at the end of the season.
