Fundamentals missing in Gainesville

Lack of a good big man or 2 as well as a true point guard that can drive and dish missing.
Transition defense horrible.
Depending on the 3 because of 0 inside game.
Leaving to double team leaving shooters alone.
Gotta make low percentage shots to stay in it.

100% fundamentals. Both individually and the team as a whole. 90% of what is lacking fundamentally is on the defensive end

Because your not a wade fan. We get it but at some point players have to play the game make shots and guard somebody. Coach can’t do everything.

How about having enough players? Depth you know what that is ?

I agree totally. The players are accountable but there are few options available.
We are athletic but not quick on both ends of the floor. Getting beat off the dribble and by cutters big time.
Our quickness is a huge problem.

The thing that gets me about some of their "help" defense, it's not needed at times and it leads to people chasing to rotate. Good thing Florida is shooting bad.

Beating us off the dribble and beating the help off the dribble.
Waterford is horrible on D but he is guarding much quicker off guards. He's getting drawn away from the rim to boot.

Are you a little slow? The coach is in charge of recruiting and bringing in adequate personnel. In other words, that's on him, too.

Yeah the lack of depth hurts us no doubt. But that's not an excuse for wife open layups, dunks, and 3's the entire 1st half
