I know it sucks but the FSU D-line kept us from doing what we do best which is throwing the ball downfield. Probably one of the worst teams to play week 1.
Going forward teams like Miss st, Tennessee, and Arkansas won’t have the pass rushers to hinder our offense the way FSU did. We can still win 7-8 games season isn’t lost yet.
It was a bad matchup with a team that played a week 0 game vs. a team that had only 38 scholarship players playing in January vs. KSU and brought in 15 Portal guys + 15 Initial signees from HS, which gets you only to 68 and the remainder of the 73 scholarship players are walkons who got schollies (Williams #27, Mashburn #82).
LSU's AD needs to scrap this crap, play this game in week 2 or if a team moves a game to week 0, you move yours to week 0.

Where’s the fault in that statement? None of those teams have good d-lines/pass rush

Florida State is a good team and some great players. Clemson has some competition this year finally.

Jared Verse was one of the biggest steals of the transfer portal. FSU got a good one, LSU wanted him too.
Verse is now leading all DE's in sacks and #6 in sacks regardless of position. He may just be a day one NFL draft pick.
Travis was able to use his legs to escape the LSU DL and a lot of roll out passes (as expected). The talented LSU WR core was also kept in check most of the night.
