Because now Rose will be traditional Pac12 vs Big10 (Oregon loss made it back to normal ... Rose is no longer "losing" a team to the BCSCG ... Same for Fiesta: no longer "losing" the Big12 champ to BCSCG)

Fiesta will get Big12 winner Kstate, auto, and they will not get an SEC selection (as the Sugar will pick before them while replacing Bama/UGA with another SEC team).

Naw, not over LSU. Fiesta would have probably taken A&M over LSU, but not the Sugar.

Florida is the only real obstacle to LSU being in the Sugar Bowl at this point.

OU fans are mostly salt-of-the-earth good people. They were very polite. There was one after the game on Bourbon Street, though, who told me, "Enjoy, because you'll never win another."

I like how people assume that Florida is going to lose to FSU. There is a pretty good chance that they win and we are back in the Cotton Bowl again.

If LSU finishes up top 4 they go to Sugar by default and A&M is left out of the equation.

To be fair, Cotton vs Texas/OU is a nice "consolation prize" IMO.... I'd much prefer Sugar, but Cotton vs Texas/OU would be a helluva premier matchup

I do believe FSU will beat Florida, though. FSU is the better team... Could Florida win? Sure, but FSU will be favored.

No question. Florida is the only team standing between LSU and the BCS.

mmm... I don't know. Barring a miracle, it will be AL-GA in SECCG. AL will be favored but it's not outside the realm of possibility that GA wins ... if that happens, GA goes to BCSNCG. Would Sugar Bowl take two loss LSU over two loss Alabama?

Yes, SECCG loser is going to the Capital One Bowl.

I have to tip my hat to Muschamp this year. He has done a heck of a job coaching the Gators. They don't have too much offensive firepower and yet they keep grinding out win. A Sugar Bowl victory would be sweet this year considering breaking in a new qb and all the injuries earlier in the year.

they only have 2 losses (OU and West Virginia)....they'll be 10-2 if they beat TCU and Kansas St.

Obviously, OU would get the BCS bid over Texas if OU beats Oklahoma State and also finishes 10-2. That said, if Oklahoma State beats OU, Texas will get the Big12's second BCS bid probably.

If FSU beats UF, and then wins the ACC, coupled with a Notre Dame defeat...you will see FSU in the National Championship Game against the winner of the SEC..

Interestingly, if GA loses to Tech then beats Bama..LOL, they would have problems...

Here's to FSU taking out UF..
