It was a good game...Bama showed why they are number 1 and contenders every year..no knocks against them...I said from the beginning of the season just give them the NC TROPHY now becuz no team is going to beat them this year...everyone else is playing for 2nd place...I think this is the best bama team I've seen in quite a long time...yeah, LSU is not as bad as people predicted but you could tell they are still missing pieces to the puzzle...let's just hope they find them soon and LSU starts running again like a fine tuned engine....GOOD LUCK...

Nice post. I agree with every thing you posted. I for one hopes Bama destroys everyone else on their schedule. (Makes LSU's Loss look a little better......and with a little luck LSU sitting at number 7 you never know what will happen) It is college football you know

excellent post and excellent observations, Bump...many of the posters on this site know about as much about football as I do about nuclear physics which is less than nothing...Coach O is not a Nick Saban and I'd be the first to state that-no one else is either and IMHO he is the greatest football coach in history (and I don't like him personally because he gave LSU the shaft by leaving) Saturday nite in Tiger Stadium proved it. Bama won so handily because this guy had them sky high...there is no college team and a few NFL teams that would have beaten them. Tennessee scored 21 points against Bama and only a moron would believe UT is in the same league with the Tigers,,,they won so convincingly because Saban had instilled the want-to in them...most of these posters would want Knute Rockne fired if he didn't win back-to-back National Championships

Now that the trash talking has subsided, some of it anyway, I'd like to point out a few things that I noticed during the game. (a) The LSU DBs were as good as advertised. Tua made some plays, but he is a generational type of talent, and Bama had to work for the yards, and points they accumulated during that game (b) The jury is still out, in my mind, re: Joe Burrow. I thought when he had time, he made some good on-time throws. He also put some throws into some very small windows. He just ran into Bama's "A" game on defense. Also Bama showed that it had some pretty good DBs as well. (c) Coach "O" is good for the sport. I hope he stays in Baton Rouge, and I hope he is successful. A guy that stoked to be coaching in his home state, should stick around. I think the recruiting will follow. (d) The atmosphere at Tiger Stadium lived up to the billing.

First, you being a sane and reasonable poster from the state on the way to the beach has not gone un-noticed. I think the biggest oversight of me and most of the fanbase was the focus on your offense, which is what was billed and incredible, but the defense. Your defense is as good as it has ever been but may not show it because they haven't played a full game until then. This is the best CFB team I have seen. All three receivers were flat out impressive, all the backs were impressive, and the qb was incredible. Very very good team.

Please stop with that. The worst NFL team would beat Bama 50 to 0.

Sour grapes dude. Tua would be a first round draft pick tomorrow, he’s a generational talent and much better than Watson and is absolutely in the same breath as Cam. If Tua played for LSU you would be saying he’s the best college QB to ever play the game.

One of Tua’s biggest talents is something most average fans do not see, he is incredibly smart on reading defensive schemes, coverage, check offs, and such. At Dilfer’s QB camp,Tua was the only player who knew all the NFL playbook in a week or so.
