Nice attempt at a save, but at least you are better educated for having read the article now.

Thanks for the link.

From the link that Solo provided...
ETA: This was confirmed by a doctor I spoke to recently who stated that the "vaccine" does not prevent a person from getting Covid, but could keep it from killing them if they did.
But I'm already seeing contradictions. Your link states

mRNA vaccines work by introducing a piece of mRNA that corresponds to a viral protein, usually a small piece of a protein found on the virus’s outer membrane. (Individuals who get an mRNA vaccine are not exposed to the virus, nor can they become infected by it.)

mRNA injections do not impart immunity. Moderna and Pfizer both admit that their clinical trials aren’t even looking at immunity.

Alright if you think you posted some kind of gotchya by posting an article that has been discredited then I’ll post this. Nice attempt at a gotchya but hopefully you’ll actually read this and be better educated for having read it. However, I’m not sure you will because it does meet your agenda that vaccines alter your genetic makeup.
LINK
quote:
The Covid-19 mRNA vaccines are not gene therapy because they are not designed to alter or change your genes in any way. The U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) describes gene therapy as a technique that “may allow doctors to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient’s cells instead of using drugs or surgery.” For example, doctors may be able to either inactivate or replace a mutated gene that isn’t functioning properly or place a new gene in your body that will do something to combat a disease. A gene consists of DNA and serves as the “basic physical and functional unit of heredity,” according to the NLM. Messenger RNA, known as mRNA for short, is different from DNA. RNA stands for ribonucleic acid. DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA serves as the library for instructions to produce different proteins. When a cell wants to produce a protein, it uses the DNA to produce a copy of mRNA. That mRNA then serves as a blueprint for the protein that is built by the ribosomes in your cells. The DNA is in the nucleus of the cell. The ribosomes are not. Thus, the mRNA from a Covid-19 vaccine will not go into the nucleus but instead will simply go to the ribosomes, which in turn will manufacture the spike protein.

Meaning, the mRNA vaccine does not expose or infect you with Covid.

By whom?
So that article that SoloTiger linked is by a guy named Joseph Mercola. He’s a known disinformation guy who took down a lot of his stuff when pressed by scientists and lawyers. It should tell you a lot that the article posted in the Atlanta Business Journal didn’t give his name, it was posted anonymously by the admin of the site but if you click on the links to his other articles then you can see who it is.
LINK
Facing pressure from pro-science groups and digital activists, the anti-vaccine founder of one of the world’s biggest natural health websites has announced he will remove all his content about unproven cures for Covid-19.
Last week, Joseph Mercola, the U.S.-based multi-millionaire behind mercola.com, announced his decision to remove all articles on his site that claimed certain vitamins and supplements could treat, prevent or cure the virus.
Anti-misinformation groups see the move as an important step towards holding anti-science influencers to account. Mercola, who has over a million followers on Facebook, has promoted a number of unproven treatments or cures for Covid-19, including the inhalation of bleach.
“Joseph Mercola is a superspreader of anti-vaccine and Covid disinformation,” said Imran Ahmed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate. “The fact that he has said he will self-censor shows the impact of penalizing anti-vaccine propagandists.”

So he was forced to take down all of his OPINIONS on how supplements he's apparently hawking can prevent Covid. But the article linked by Solo has not been discredited nor has it been taken down. Probably because it's not his opinion, but rather based in fact.

I mean the guy recommended inhaling bleach as a cure for Covid. He’s also in the business of discrediting vaccines so that people buy his products. It should tell you something when he’s a known anti-vaccer, in that he is against all vaccines. Even the ones that have been around for decades are people are required to take.
If you must, check out his Wikipedia page and tell me that he’s a trusted source on anything. Again, dude, you do you. I’ve providing you some links that I hope help you make a decision for yourself. I also get pissed when people post bs shite like SoloTiger. If you want the vaccine get it, if you don’t then don’t get it but no need for posters like him to contribute to the fake news that’s out there.
Again, my premise is and has always been to educate yourself with legit stuff and make the best decision for yourself.

There is nothing wrong with what I stated or in the cited information I linked. You are doing people a disservice by trying to serve as the "fact police" on here.
Everyone needs to do their own research. I've done mine over the past several months. It's really sad that it is so difficult in this age of disinformation.
The benefits of the experimental gene therapy do not outweigh the risk in my humble opinion.
For those that have taken that risk I certainly wish them the best. I really do.

As I said, nobody has discredited the information provided in Solo's link. PROBABLY BECAUSE IT'S BASED IN FACT.

Anything else? It’s only in screenshot form because he has since removed the post. Again, I trust scientists as I have family members who work in the field (and no they are not government employed) and when they feel safe about this and have taken it themselves and have provided me their reasoning then I’m good with it.I chatted with someone I trusted and that was good for me. But again, you do what’s best for you. I understand skepticism as there are things that certainly make skepticism valid.

Dr. Mercola is the founder of the #1 natural health site on the planet. I wonder why Big Pharma would be against him?
Stay safe out there.
