Imagine living in a world where praise for a current coach is considered controversial?

It goes beyond socially inept.

Some have no need to be rational at all. There's a complete nutjob in another thread calling me a liar because I posted something about hoping that they bring in Salisbury or Freeze.

That’s cool and all, but like I’m just not going to put too much stock in the opinion of a guy who transfered 10 years ago as to the current state of the program.

He knows 10x more about how a program runs than you.

So you just do what you do, and hope for the worst

How well connected do you think a guy who transfered 10 years ago is to the current program?

He also transfered from LSU to Nichols so there is a solid chance of sour grapes.

There is no way you can say this staff is more talented than the 2004-2007 staff. And those are the years he was at LSU

That’s his experience and everything else is just another guys opinion.

Like come on.

You’re living in a fantasy that every guy who ever played for LSU is somehow in one big group text and y’all all the time.

You had to know that neganation would shite on the guy and try to discredit him and anyone else involved. Apparently there were several former players there who the OP is reluctant to identify and rightfully so.

But anything positive has to be headed off and dealt with before it has a chance to take hold.

Keep blowing smoke up eachother’s asses.

It’s a fricking dumb opinion.

Do you think E is a more “talented” OC than Jimbo Fisher?

Do you think Onis a more Talented HC than Saban or Miles?

Now I’ll argue Muschamp Vs Pellini Vs Aranda. I am A big Aranda guy, but even there it’s an arguement still. Muschamp and Bo fielded some elite defenses and are P5 coaches for a reason.

Lol or not at all. He could very easily not be connected at fricking all.

You’re living in this fantasy that all former players know what’s going on.

Even guys who quit the team.

It's just the guy's opinion. It's the player's opinions. It was never meant to be anything concrete just to give people an idea of how the coaching staff is perceived. So instead of taking the information and learning something from it. You all went into full on denial and attack mode.

Watching you all jump through hoops is hilarious.

It’s someones opinion.

The weight it should be given and the actual value of said opinion are up for discussion.

You’re just agreeing with it because it reinforces your own opinion.

Doesn’t make it valuable.

Can you go coach by coach and say we’re really more talented outside Maybe Aranda and Raymond?(both hired by Les)

What chaps my arse the most, here’s an LSU player who stays connected to other Tiger players, he loves the program, he resides in Houston which is a major recruiting spot for LSU. He showed me nothing but courtesy even when I asked to repeat everyone’s name that was a Tiger. I hold great respect for him and other former Tigers, but the Ohaters just wont stop embarrassing themselves and Tiger nation.

Who exactly hates Orgeron? I'm very curious to know who these people are.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with it. I'm taking it for what it is.

It's value is giving you a little insight into what some former players are thinking no more no less.

Why would you want to do this?

I'm sure that the coaches on staff are no more or no less professional than the former coaches. The others won some hardware well this crew hasn't had a chance yet.

This is my favorite part, where after 5 pages of arguing with me, you crawfish and pretend like you don’t have an opinion.

You’re telling me I should Learn from the OPs story, and part of that story is that Cooper thinks this staff is more talented than Les’s.

Well is it? Like I dont Think so.

How should I react To this thread in your opinion?

It's a desperate move to squash any hint of positivity be people who refuse to accept things the way they are.

When a positive comment turns into a dozen people throwing a fit about it, you know they've gone over the edge.

Of course I have an opinion. I think that coach O and company have LSU trending up and I'm excited about LSU football.

I think that the team did well this past season and I can't wait to beat bama and run the table this fall.

I can't tell you that. You definitely got defensive and defended Les and crew. It doesn't have to be one or the other. You can like both.
