Bert left tye cupboards bare, as he does when he goes to the supermarket.

Least talented team in the SEC and it's not particularly close. Not Morris' fault and will likely take 2 seasons before they're competitive in the SEC again.

Maybe Miles finally takes that job at ARK he was offered years ago when Alleva gave him the MASSIVE POWERBALL Contract Extension

Teams need to stop hiring him. Hes getting worse every new job he takes. I think hes just collecting checks at this point.

And it's hard to find a good reason. The first thought would be that he couldn't adapt to the spread/dual threat/RPO era, but then you remember him shutting down Manziel twice...

Has everything to do with talent level and not coaching ability, in a manner of speaking.

I was about to say the same thing. For example, the kid who was AR's QB at the beginning of the season wasn't on LSU's radar, despite being from Lafayette. In addition, AR has a senior FB from nearby Haynesville, LA that was also never recruited by LSU.

THIS^^^. Chavis is at the end of his career and is making a living off his reputation from years ago. Early in his career he was an elite DC. His success at LSU was largely due to the obscene talent we had, not the schemes he ran. Yes, he handled Johnny Football well, but even that wasn't rocket science; he just challenged JF to beat us as a pocket passer, not the playmaker he was so good at being. It's time for Chavis to retire. At this point in his career, I don't see him having the energy to recruit the way that'll be necessary to rebuild the AR defense. There's just not that much SEC level talent in AR so he'll have to go out of state.

This team is not very good but it does show some flashes.

I don't think it matters who the DC is this year.
