Duane,

I'm too young to remember your time at LSU, but regardless you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you the best of luck in your battle with cancer and pray that God gives you strength to persevere.

God bless you and your family,

George

Thanks, guys.

Duane is scheduled to have an MRI of his brain on Thursday, August 28. The doctor does not think that he has cancer in the brain, but the MRI is needed to complete all requirements for his upcoming treatment. Hopefully on Friday, August 29, we will have a new update.

Duane and his family appreciate the reponses they have gotten here. Please continue the prayers. They are working.

BB,

Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow. The brain scan was scheduled for today, so it will probably take a little while to get the results. In perfect Duane DeArmond humor, he told me that there is no way he has cancer in his brain. He says that there is not enough cells in there for it to attach to.

Thanks for the concern. I'll keep everyone posted.

This is Duane,
I am so glad to hear from so many people. I have been on Sutent since Friday evening before I went to bed. I take it four times a day, so obviously I am just getting started. I have opted out of the "Clinical Study" as it was really slowing things down, I stil would not be on Sutent if I stayed on the study. I had an MRI and that along with tht CT scan has verified the cancer has not matastisized to the brain, but like I said before I really had little chance based on brain cell quantity LOL! I am very comfortable with my doctors and please know this! I feel the prayers, they carry me, THEY WORK. I humbly request that you will provide more.

Duane

Holenn has had some serious back pain and surgery and we are keeping in touch though myn wife and his sister. Tehy are still best of friends.

I know who "wallowinit" is and he is a dear old friend. I am not sure how this got started but I can assure you it was NOT ever directed at me. Please let's move on.

"Schaf" I had not idea you and your brother were hear in houston. I live in Cypress, the door is always open man!

In typical female style, this thread has brought tears to my eyes. Duane, I am so glad to know you're doing as well as can be expected and that your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is so strong.

You and your family continue to be in my prayers; I know He listens. Although He may not always answer the way we think He should, He will never forsake you - His grace is sufficient.

Thanks for the updates and may God Bless you and your family richly.
