I hope he gets to come back. The whole situation he went through was bull@$%#. I'll be glad to get him back on the team. I don't think he should start. He lost that priviledge when, as the "leader" of this team, he broke team rules. But I welcome the additional twists he adds to this offense. It will give opposing defenses just something else to have to gameplan for.

Having him on the sideline hurts the team. His availability over Mett is harmful to our success. Hopefully Lee never gets hurt but if it happens, then you have a huge fanbase that knows Jefferson isn't the 2nd best QB on the team. I don't trust Miles to make the best decision.

If he is back soon and practicing, he won't be ready for anything until November. I say leg him play a few snaps against WKU so he can't redshirt and haunt us next year.

Deal with what?

Do you trust Les Miles, Stud, Krags and the offensive coaches?

Are they infinitely more equipped than I to make LSU football related decisions? Of course.

But, they've had JJ as our starter for two years. I'm a little scared.

We are finally seeing what not having him under center is doing for our team.

That's all.

It will be depending on how JJ comes back. Either he comes back with putting the team first or he comes back with a selfish attitude wanting the starting QB job just handed back to him. Like it has been the last 2 years.

Maybe it plays out like this. Les has told JJ he is getting a Redshirt if/when he comes back. This way, Lee isn't looking over his shoulder. There isn't any division drawn between the team. JJ gets to practice and get reps. And if Lee goes down with an injury, JJ can still be inserted. Seems this plan would eliminate any gray area. Lee knows his role. JJ knows his role. Team knows the roles. Keep this team on its current path for victory.

So you think every offensive coach at LSU over the past 4 years has been wrong? Because no coach (old, new or the same) has ever selected J Lee as the starting QB. That is fact.

Or....we're just seeing J Lee under center in this new offense. We have never seen JJ in this offense. So we really don't know shite do we?

No I think the coaches did not want to risk putting Lee in after 08 thinking that his mental status was not where it needed to be. So the past two years we sat thru a horrible passing game when we would see flashes of JL's passing ability that has been proven so far this year.

It doesn't matter what offense you are in if you can't throw the ball that will show. So it won't matter what offense JJ is in he still has not proven he can throw on target to the recievers. And there is no reason to find out this year if he can.

IMO not the first person on defense should have the first say in the matter.

If you wanted players opininon start with the following...
RR
OBjr
Dp
CC
JW
KB
then go to Rbs and Olineman.

Im not 100% sure what RR would have to say about it.. but I can speculate and make an educated guess.

Is this an eye chart or are you just really lazy?

No, your awkward obsession with being right on this.

You're not.

JJ is a liability to our offense...old or new. You can't change his throwing abilities. You saw it in the spring game and if you had access to premium subscription video..in practice.

stop.

Neither had JL prior to this year.
