Well, didn't mean to generalize "you" per se. Apologize for that. I am no DD apologist, but if you do go to the recruiting board, the info there is so weak, I can't understand how anyone could possibly attack DD and not these tools. I get my info from friends and recruiting sites (Rivals only). And I take what I get from friends with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the "for those who bash Dandy" thread for the week. I was getting worried that we might not get one this week.
Somehow every freakin player/coach/media person/AD/grounds keeper, etc in the country is open for critique, but the great dandy one is supposed to get Jesus like status because he is a nice guy and really likes LSU?

His info is better than some pay sites, IMO, speculating on wins, recruits etc.. is an inexact science but fun to read about. It's free, don't read it if you don't like it.

He is a great LSU fan and Ambassador, so, if they don't like him, don't read him.

I just had a very sad realization -- come December, I'll be one of those "50 plus"ers. Damn.
Dandy Don is and always will be an LSU institution. He and fans like him have have been teh LSU fan base since before most of us were born. He deserves respect whether you care for his insights or not.

OK, let's give you a little help. Make some website, other than DD, your homepage. That way you will have to make a conscious decision (if that's possible) to read his update everyday.
That way, you can avoid him if you are so serious about it!
