From a top to bottom pitching standpoint, this team is better than 93, 96, 97, 2000, 2009 and maybe 2023 which was extremely top heavy with Skenes.

From a lineup standpoint, I would say this team is on par with 96 and 2000, but the other teams had better hitting.

If these guys get it going at the right time, winning the national championship is very possible. If we don’t get the bats going, our pitching will take us far but not far enough.

Just my opinion.

Also I would say defensively this team is as good as any of our NC teams. You could pick apart position by position but this is a very strong defensive team. Especially in the infield when Braswell is at 3rd.

Every championship team roster was elevated in the postseason.

What we think of these players isn't set until we see how they perform under the big lights.
