Starkville is quite nice and their game day scene is friendly, clean and family friendly. I’ve been at least 10 times.
Only got bothered by a couple of young fans once. They were big in calling me corndog. I had to laugh at them. If they had ever been to a game in BR they would have seen the endless gourmet spreads at all the tailgates.
But the cowbells are deafening.

Also, what section is the lsu band usually in at Ole Miss?? Never been and finally making that trip this year.

Not sure about Ole Miss, but it looks like the band will be at the front of Section 25 for the Mississippi State game.

Don't listen to the idiots who probably have never made the trip. Mississippi State is a really good road trip. Good people and a good atmosphere for a game.
If you just want to get blind drunk and piss yourself, I'm sure you can do that, like any where else. If you want to watch a football game, tailgate and go out afterwards, it's as good as any other road trip. Better than some others.

msu band sits in section 25 lower. only bad thing about msu game this year is 11 am start.
