The time to pitch a fit was during the game when it happened.

I like Kelly but it doesn’t hurt to show some emotion when your heisman candidate qb get pummeled by a player intending to do a criminal act. Targeting is suppose to protect a qb who is vulnerable to a head/ brain injury. Seems to me Kelly could have had a word or two for the officials while Daniels was being attended to for a head injury. What it have made a difference who knows but if you could get them to make the call for the purpose of review. I believe that targeting would have been affirmed

He talked w them. And at the end of day, screeching at the officials is fruitless.
It was a missed call. But not nearly as impactful as two missed calls earlier in the gane.
The missed PI and the missed hold on Perkins were egregious and may have changed the game a bit

Ask Saban... evidently it does a lot.

The SEC office is located in Alabama and loaded with Alabama graduates. There is a conflict of interest involving the best player on their team. If the SEC office suspended him, the SEC office employee would lose his job. The only true solution is to move the SEC office someplace like New Orleans, Atlanta, or Nashville.
Agree with Nashville - it’s diverse enough. Right now, it may as well be in Tuscaloosa.

Ehh Nashville has a SEC school in it. New Orleans is the obvious answer here, but that would make too much sense for the SEC.

Yeah, that's why Saban does it all the time.

Hey it was 2009 all over again. It was predetermined that Bama would represent the West. LSU’s defense wasn’t good enough to represent the SEC in Atlanta. Like I said 2 weeks before the game our chances will be slim against Bama and the league. We would have to overwhelming beat them to win. We weren’t overwhelmingly better. Our defense sucked and this opened the door.
The SEC got exactly what they wanted. They usually do. If Kelly stays here long enough we might have a chance to turn this around. It’s going to take Kiffin, Kelly and maybe Jimbo to change things. I don’t think Jimbo is going to be around long enough though. It’s corrupt, it’s been corrupt since Bear Bryant and will continue to be corrupt until more honest, uncompromised, unbiased people are running the SEC. The refs need to be out of conference refs to start with. If the NCAA has any more stroke at all they should strive for independent NCAA approved refs who float around the country as teams and are professional year around refs. There is enough money to get this done. Local refs are a problem. The ability to compromise these guys is too high.

Just put it in Chicago and be done with it.
