Seriously, can they yank that acc commercial???
At least edit the aint gonna stop acc football part at the end. It was cheesy enough before the season started, let alone after the fcs losses.

Is this the same Les that put a horrendous shellacking on those first three opponents in the 2007 season?

If UL holds LSU to a twenty point lead, I don't want anyone coming back with Les being "conservative" with his offense.

If LSU could've started this season with two wrath of God games they would've. They did what they could do.

24-12

If this game is 24-12, I, as a calm-headed Ranter will go berserk. There is no conceivable way ULL holds LSU to 24. We should be able to run CS up the middle every play and score 24...

Late to the thread, but let's get serious.

LSU has so many weapons and is so much bigger in the man-to-man matchups.

We don't even need to get in to the technicals of it all.

Anybody else been waiting for Trindon to finally have a breakout run or two?

Anybody think ULL is gonna stop Trindon?

He's good for 2 TDs alone.

I predict a (minimum) 21 point margin over ULL.

Should be a good game, though.

You know, the score will be 35-14ish and really not that close, yet people will complain that UL-L scored two TDs and believe it is the beginning of the end.

I want to see LSU blow out ULL, but, based upon the first two games, I don't know if LSU's margin of victory will be as large as LSU fans are expecting.

Dominant football is a product of dominance on the line of scrimmage and, so far, LSU's offensive and defensive lines have not been anywhere close to dominant. The defensive line played better against Vandy and hopefully improvement will continue.

However, the offensive line has been very underwhelming in the first two games. Hebert's and Dworaczyck's struggles might be due to a lack of experience. However, Black, Hitt and Barksdale have not been particularly impressive either and they have no excuses. The o-line as a unit looks sluggish and uninspired. That unit must play better if LSU is to have a chance of beating the stronger teams in the SEC.

Nope. LSU players have probably had enough of the "not playing up to their potential" talk. This would also be a good opportunity for Jefferson to get experience throwing the deeper routes.

Why is it so far-fetched to believe that Miles is keeping the offensive conservative?
Because maybe you don't want to try an experimental formation or play for the very first time against a major opponent in a game that really "counts..." could be a reason.
