After seventy years of following LSU sports I hardly watch any basketball games on TV. I even bought the "Big Dish" antenna for TV, back in the eighties, just to watch LSU on Jefferson Pilot Network.
I may check in to see the score, but the game is hardly recognizable, since gambling became legal. Its all in the hands of the officials as to when if ever to call a foul, charging, or traveling.
When LSU fired Wade and Orgeron and hired Kelly and Mac, it was obvious they didn't care about winning, (Politics) or were too stupid to recognize the difference.

Let mine go over 10 years ago. The piped in music sucks, I can drink my own alcohol, eat way better food, use my own bathroom, don't have to spend an entire day out there, no being stuck in traffic on the way home, easier to watch other games on TV.

Seriously considered letting them go this year. They've been in the family since the late 1950's and I've had them in my name since I graduated from LSU. Then i saw the home schedule this year and the arrival of the Lane Train. I think I will renew at least one more year. They are harrassing the crap out of me about renewing though. I've already told them I will be renewing but I still get an email at least once a week.

What a year makes… they were calling people at the end of last year begging to sign up. Those who did, got lucky… were offering no TAF for 3 years on some sky club

I had had my tickets for 40 years when I finally cut the cord in 2020 because of Covid. 20 of those years traveling from Madison, MS. Eight of those years traveling from OKC. I had BB tickets for eight years and gave them up at the same time. I received multiple calls from the athletic department at the time. Not having tickets doesn't keep you from tailgating if you want to. It's easy to leave campus prior to game time and make it home if you live in BR to watch from the comfort of your media room. Bathroom, bar and food. Easy to get tickets for most non-conference games. Pick one good conference game and pay a premium. Still way cheaper than the season tickets.
