i just have a bunch of problems with that play. Yeah read was there, but why was reid on their best WR?

Why wasn't reid back in coverage and Simon manned up on the guy?

Was Simon really doing any better against him? There wasn't a single guy on the team that could cover him, and this was one of the least egregious plays the secondary made. You could find a lot better examples of crappy coverage, like the many times we had corners lined up BEYOND the first down marker with no hope of stopping a first down pass at all.

Simon made a few plays that game, Reid hasn't been the same this year. There were multiple time he was there and didn't make play on the ball in this game alone

No one is disputing that the offense is bad but 2 out of 3 losses our D has had a lead with roughly 100 seconds left and had the opponent march down the field and take the game from us. If our defense is as badass as they're supposed to be that shouldn't happen.

Look at the rankings and u tell me. Do we have 73rd ranked talent on offense? If we don't than the issue is coaching. The d didn't cost us this game the offense did or lack thereof just like the UF game.

Chavis played soft at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarters of the S Carolina game, A&M, Alabama, and Clemson. He's shaped really good defenses but agree with everyone about the offense...need new schemes at the right time. When you look back at what LSU did against Towsend St.,it's discouraging!
