With all the high profile recruits coming in for this game, it would be extremely digusting to see the stadium half empty by the 3r qtr. I don't care what the score is-DON'T LEAVE EARLY UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY!

What do you expect from all the bandwagon fans that show up at the games now?

People leave early regardless of the score. Most modern day LSU fans don't go to Tiger Stadium to watch the game... FYI.

That's a stupid accusation. I don't think it's safe to say "most modern day LSU fans"....at all.

depends on how far of a drive you have in front of you, what your obligations are for Sunday (or Saturdat evening) and how the game unfolds

For instance, if you have to be in Dallas, Houston or ATL for something, then are you saying these folks should lose at least an hour and most likley 2 hours fighting traffic so that you are pleased that no one left early? When they have a 4-7 hour drive in front of them AFTER they get on the Interstate...Meaning they have instead and 6-9 hour time to arrive at their returned destination and get home that much later at night/early morning?

In other words, I agree with what you say in a vacuum, but you vastly underestimate how many folks drive to/from the game and do not have hotels, homes or motor homes and the day Sunday to return to their other life activities...

Otherwise, I'm with you...Just factor in reality into your expectations.

And it is easliy an hour that can be saved by leaving a few minutes before the game is over. I personally do not leave until the clock says 00:00, but that is my choice and I respect those who make a different decision out of their personal need/situation.

These guys will leave in the third quarter no what the score is. They will Boo LSU players. Why do they even bother going to the game. They should give their tickets away before the game. I rather see Gumps in their seats.

What makes you think you can tell people when and when not to leave a game?

Tell Les to put a good coaching product on the field and the crowd will stay. Fans leave early mostly when an opponent sucks or Miles is being his typical negligent self as it pertains to our offense.

So basically Crowton = less fans in the 4th....or they stay to boooooo his arse for a typical underperforming offense.

At which point Miles throws the players under teh bus and claims the crowd is booing them, not him and GC's terrible cluster of an offensive game plan. Its a joke with those 2, it is NOT the players OR the fans fault.

Why go to all the trouble of traveling 10 to 14 hours total to see LSU play if your going to miss 25% of the game. Just stay home watch the game on TV.

Cause they come for the whole experience, even if they have to miss the last part of the game, the previous 48 hrs was worth it

Besides, you might miss another incredible Miles event at the game end.

People will NOT leave this game early. This shite is so exaggerated. Yes, people leave early, but big games like this they will not, especially it being an early game. There will always be a few here and there, but it's not gonna be the mass exodus people think.

I'm sorry but it will get cold when the sun drops and I have to let my dog out the house to pee. I will catch the 4thQ on the sofa.

Who's wasting time?

Chances are I've been sitting in Tiger Stadium since before you were born.

I was telling the OP that while I understand where he's coming from, it doesn't make anyone LESS of a fan for leaving early. My ticket. My rules.

FWIW, I don't leave early.

You have your mind made up so much that you are not processing this intelligibly. If someone drives in from Dalas/Houston/other on Friday evening, tailgates all day Saturday and conditionally leaves the game in the midst of the 4th QTR (where they deem the game is 90+% decided) because they have a long drive home that they have to make, that is sensible, and many have had to do just that. If the game is close, then it becomes much less understandable. They might be tired and have a long drive in front of them, and others in the car who are depending on them to be safe when in hour 4-7 of the trip home in the middle of the night. Let them make the trade-off that is best for them and don't assume folks are leaving early to drive to Bluebonnet or Denham Springs.

They still can make their own trade as to the worth of driving in, tailgating all day, visiting friends, enjoying the band coming down the hill and the majority of the game....that is still a high value trip
