I just meant close, but he did win the SEC W, beat Saban on last trip to LSU in spectacular fashion, recruit JD5 with snickers from fans only for him to win a Heisman. If he doesn’t make the CFP this year it’ll get shaky. But again this NIL sht has made Great coaches into just Normal and Good coaches now seem to be great strictly off the $$$ their schools have access to. It made the GOAT retire and imho I think CBK would’ve won a Natty without NIL. We’ve lost a lot of recruits that WANTED to play here for sure but NIL swayed them to other schools. I still believe we get DK Moore, C Simmons, J Phillips, J Stewart, B Wesco, Bryce U, just to name a few. This season will make or break CBKs LSU career even though he’s not going to be fired unless the bottom falls out.
