For all the "I trust O" folks...

So many negative posts on the potential hire of Bo Pelini. Suddenly it seems we got a whole bunch of Monday morning coaches saying this is a mistake. Either you trust the man who just put together the greatest season in LSU football history or you don't. Simple and elegant.

Well I have to believe at this point that O sees Bo as some one who will "buy in" to the program he's trying to run and history shows (Matt Canada), that if it's not going to work and they can't get along, he's firing their arse. I like the hire in the sense that O proved he lets the coaches do their job and keeps everyone moving in the same direction.

It’s a good hire, it’s not a mistake. Pelini is a great DC and will do his own thing. O knows he won’t have to worry about defense at all. Just recruiting the guys Pelini wants in his scheme

I trust O and although I haven't followed Bo since he left LSU, I remember LSU having a very, very good defense under him while he was here.
If he impressed O, I have to trust it's the right hire. O is an LSU-first kind of man and he's not going to hand those keys to just anyone.

This is a good take. Kind of a HC on the defensive side of the ball.
