Everyone on here bitching about football attendance, people leaving early, now basketball, people not showing up, not cheering...

Face it people maybe we just flat out suck as fans, and nothing will help it.

People said fire miles and people will return, well the product is some better on offense, yet people still leave early. Same with bball, win and they will come, well..........

Look at auburn for example, their basketball games look freaking awesome on TV.

And when it comes to their football games, even if they have 3 or 4 losses, their stadium looks rocking on tv

Having been to an Auburn/LSU game in Auburn in the last three years - it is rocking and actually really fun in person. Their donor area prior to the game is very nice, the AD visits with every table - not bad at all.

I was able to go to the LSU auburn game when Cam beat us, awesome game experience, not the greatest example for this topic bc both teams were at the top of their game, but still, they truly love and want help their team win

No shite, dude, that’s why I said not great example to this topic, right below in the next sentence.

And actually I’m speaking of basketball and football, teams like auburn, they got it right whatever they are doing

Yet gymnastics continues to increase season ticket sales and sell out every home meet. Go figure.

They’ll take a hit now with back to back losses

Hopefully they'll bounce back this week at Alabama then come home to stomp NC State. I think they'll sustain.

For gymnastics I don’t think it’s about W & L. It’s about a family event. Unless we just suck, we will have good gymnastics crowds. It’s become a thing to do on Friday night the last several years.

1. Auburn was playing UK yesterday. Every home crowd gets more juiced for UK...including LSU.

2. Until last season AU was perennially at the bottom of the SEC. Go look at some of their home games then. Far different atmosphere.

3. LSU took control of this game around the 10:00 mark. The entire second half LSU played with between a 19-30 point lead. If the game were closer, fans would have been more intense. I’ll HAPPILY take a “quiet” crowd if it means LSU is winning by 20

4. Attendance was 11k+ yesterday. They (LSU) won and they (the fans) came

The bitching about the fans is ridiculous. This is the first game the students showed up to in good numbers. Hell, until this week there may have been one thread a day about basketball. Now, every fan here is the biggest fan in the history of LSU basketball.

If LSU keeps winning, the fans will continue to show up
