If Baker wants to be a HC great. Go and prove it at a smaller school. Win, recruit and build. Then if the time comes you get the interview but to think that LSU is some sort of proving ground is retarded snd the HC in waiting is a dumb role. When Kelly retires you automatically want to hand the job over without vetting any candidates? You don't think the first big job that came along would just take him anyways?
It's not a real job and even if you want it to be - you do not get the reigns at LSU on your first go round.
