Anyone who is from Texas can tell you that Tech is the strangest football team. Historically they would beat a top 10 team then lose to someone like Iowa State. That being said. LSU 37 TT 27. Tigers come back after a fast Tech start

Tech will score early and fast. Will are DB's be ready? Will our offense take 3 possessions to get rolling? Could be down by 17 early.

Some of y'all are predicting way too high of scores. The clock will be eaten up simply due to Miles and LSU's offensive style of power running.
Miles plays this a lot closer to the vest and the score will be closer than the actual game appears. LSU will thwart off a late 4th quarter rally. LSU will be in control the entire game, although the score won't show it.

LSU will score at will after their 2nd position of the game. TT simply cannot stop air. It will be up to LSU's defensive secondary to stop TT.

This game is Les Miles' wet dream. We should not have to pass more than 15 times during this game.
This will be the classic "wear them down" type game where LF will start breaking big runs late in the game.
I trust LSU's defense to be able to stop TT's offense more than I trust TT's defense to be able to stop LF.

I suspect a conspiracy that TT was selected as the bowl opponent so Les Miles and LSU could run ramrod over the porous TT defense. I expect a blowout like the 2005 Peach Bowl.

Red Raider fan here. I'm looking forward to this game. Our family has somewhat adopted LSU as our favorite team outside of Tech after my daughter started following LSU's gymnastics team. Beside that I think this game will be lower scoring than many think. I think your offense will ground and pound, as they should, a weak defense. There is too much obvious I don't need to restate it. My heart tells me Tech wins a tight game but my head tells me otherwise. I'm afraid your defense has too many strengths to counter our strong passing game. Regardless, best of luck tomorrow, here's to a good injury free game!
