And yet, I cannot help but feel the tragic irony is completely lost on you.

Oh, King Joey is one of the rantards as well.

I love how JR is not only better, but vastly superior in every category a QB category possible, yet people STILL think MF is better.

Peach Bowl Win/National Championship vs a Sugar bowl Win

just saying... the national championship helps

Your constant railing against the "racism" of rantards is tragically ironic due to the racism pervasive in your own posts. It's sad.

RP would have beaten Ohio State. Flynn was fortunate to have the worst, or most competitive, year of CFB in a long time. LSU won in spite of Flynn for a lot of the time.

Didn't Flynn win MVP of both of those games though?

Ohio St and Miami aren't too terribly impressive to me, hence the score.

(Though is OSU performance was nice, 4TDs/1INT I think)

Just to explore this amazing commentary, how exactly would you describe LSU's win over Florida in '05? Or '04? Or Arkansas '05? Or Tennessee '06?

Yes, regularly.

Simple. You consistently display an inability to see past the color of people's skin. Russell, Flynn, Hester, Scott, Jefferson, Lee, Shepard; none of them are people, or even football players. All you see in your posts is who is white and who is black.

The inability to see past the color of a person's skin is the defining quality of racism.

Now I thought this was funny... Would ND be impressive then?

This was funny when it was just to flame I never assumed it would get serious.

But Notre Dame was?

Ohio State was the #1 team in the country. Miami was a top 10 team with a top 10 rated defense. These were not pushovers, and they both compare with several of Russell's more impressive wins (Notre Dame, Tennessee '06, Arkansas '06, ASU '05, etc.).

are you fricking retarded?

I see who in my opinion is the better football player.

apparently, a lot of other people agree with me:

hence the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft wasn't matt flynn.

Okay, then. Let me ask you this: If someone argued to you that Trent Dilfer was a better QB than Dan Marino because Dilfer has a SuperBowl ring and Marino doesn't, what would you call that person?

Precisely. And yet, when someone makes exactly the same argument regarding Flynn and Russell (where the comparison is nowhere near as absurd), you do not call them an idiot but rather call them a racist. Why? Because you no longer see two QBs being compared. You see a black guy and a white guy. And since that is all you see, anything anyone says about the two that you disagree with can only be the result of racism. It can't be because someone has a different view of rating QBs, or even because someone is clueless about football. It can only be racism in your mind because in your mind their race is all that matters. Nothing else is relevant.

If you call it idiocy when they're both the same race, but racism when they're not, then *you* are not seeing the people; but the color of their skin instead.
