Did Flynn have 2 1st round wide receivers to throw to like Russell did?

Astonishing.

Did JR have a 1,000 yard rusher, better offensive line, TE, and Gary Crowton?

It don't seem like having a new OC your senior season would be a advantage.

It's not like Flynn was playing under Jimbo, so I'm sure the transition wasn't too difficult. I mean shite, even RP thrived in his system.

His offense is MUCH more QB friendly (due to the number of WRs and ease of the routes they run)

He was practicing and preparing under a totaly different system I'm pretty sure learning a new playbook was a big transition.

For you and several on this thread it certainly does. Unless somebody flat out said they preferred white guy or made some color remark, then you can say that. Maybe some of these guys you know who are racists, I don't know, but it amazes me how the JR defenders are so quick to play the racism card. That is just being judgmental.

the reason the racism card is pulled is b/c people criticize JR for not having attributes associated with white QBs and not associated with black QBs by racists

-they say JR wasn't as smart as flynn
-they say JR wasn't as accurate as flynn

when JR proved in 2006 that both of these statements were patently false, people STILL kept up with it

how else can you describe it other than saying these assertions are based on racial stereotypes?

he had lafell and early, and a much better offensive system

but it's nice to know sammich thinks flynn > JR

Just pointing out a flaw in your theory. Having two 1st round WR's is a huge advantage for any QB. Nothing against Russell, but Flynn had 1 3rd round pick in Doucet & potential 1st round pick in Lafell. JR had all 4..

Davis wouldn't have been a 1st round receiver if it wasn't for JR. Even then, he was still a huge reach

What was it the Coach said about drafting him? Something about the "Best hands in Draft"?

he was considered a reach at the spot he was taken. He hasn't shown the ability to get open, has concussion issues which makes him a liability over the middle. He was a good receiver for LSU and i hope he can play well at the next level, but he wasn't 1st round material

If Flynn and Mauck do not have computer help they never play in NC game then would you still consider them "smarter" or "better"?
