Another lie from you. You are a clueless fricking idiot.

What metric are we using here? Was LSU the home team with a packed stadium the whole game?

So, you are saying Florida was the more talented team?

Drama QUEEN alert

I'm just responding to what you said.

Or beat two top 10 teams away from home. Losing at the Swamp to Florida is not as horrible as non-LSU fans on this board would want others to believe

So the season was a success because of the 5-0 start? Nothing else matters because LSU beat two top 10 teams. Hang the banners, shut the season down.

Go find another team to pull against

Time number 11 asking your bitch arse. Show me one single post of me pulling against LSU.

He writes like a child. I bet he is a relative of Ensminger.

I never expected a championship of any kind. I was hopeful Ensminger could do the job. I posted that.

I also said, "my greatest fear is that there is no offensive system waiting for the right QB, instead just chasing another rainbow and unicorn (in Joe Barrow)."

No system waiting for the trigger man, instead just more hope and prayers. The next two weeks will decide.

you have already beaten Aub & Miami - 2 of the 4 that were most important to LSU fans coming into the season

9-3 and a respectable bowl; coupled with realistic hope behind heightened expectations for next year is not that bad of a place to be; even 8-4 would not kill momentum for y'all (but it is not out of the question that y'all do better, maybe even 10-2)

a little more silver lining; get to the Citrus (or something comparable) this year and at least be competitive for the SEC next year, and the door should open up with top tier QBs on the recruiting trail

yesterday was a tough game that came down to the end - no reason to lose faith in your program...

You make great points and sadly they will be completely overlooked by the majority on this board.

I feel like a lot of people on this board don't care for the sport, and really just want to pound chest because LSU is the best. Most feel like they are entitled to success for some reason.

Florida's defense is very good, and honeslty a bit better than ours. I think our O is more explosive than theirs, and we had opportunities to win but we didn't execute. And that's okay. This is all a game. These are teenagers out there tossing a ball around. It's fun as hell, right? So they lost, big fricking deal. Next week they have a top 15 matchup in BR against a beatable UGA team. It should be a lot of fun. If you feel like there is no reason to watch, by all means quit watching. But there's always next week, always next year, always other teams with other aspirations.

As much as some people on here believe it, LSU is not the center of the college football universe. Some of you are miserable pricks whose identity hinges on the successes and failures of 18-22 year old young men. It's sad and I suggest some help. I used to get angry at this until I hit the age where I was older than some of the players. And then it hits you, you're living vicariously through kids.

Go outside, go for a run or a hike, eat a burger, play with a dog, and then on Saturdays cheer on the Tigers. Not because you want them to win desperately, but because you like the game of football and you love LSU, and no matter the outcome you'll be there supporting.

How about this metric?

Recruiting rankings the last four years:

LSU: #5, #2, #7, #15

UF: #21, #12, #11, #14

I hate to break it to you but being the home team has nothing to do with talent. How many road games have Bama and UGA lost this year? Must've had something to do with coaching.

Recruiting rankings are bullshite. If you get all your recruit points from DBs and athletes you still don’t have lineman.

Yet Washington lost to Auburn, who has no other top 25 wins, and is ranked 7th

That must explain why the teams with the best rankings are the ones winning championships ever year. You should tell this to Saban, Urban and Kirby. It would save them a lot of work.

Nick Saban isn’t donning a headset on our sidelines right now so the 2003 argument is null and void.

“ admit to being an LSU fan”

That’s great, but you really seem to be more a coach O fan as I don’t seem to recall all this support for LSU no matter what before coach O arrived to call the shots.
