My friend thought they said bring fruit. She brought apples.

I remember the refs shirts with round splotches on them from being hit.... When the fruit ran out stadium seat cushions were raining down out of the fog.. It was crazy, Walked to class on Monday and could smell oranges outside the stadium.

Was there too. Awesome game. For some reason I remember someone lighting a fire at the top of the North End.

I was 8. First game I actually remember well.

Anyone in the stadium that night would remember it.

I was there. I was an 18 year old freshman. We got onto the field and I even got up on the crossbar of the goalpost and held onto the upright. I was pelted with so many oranges I had bruises on my back and pulp in my hair!

15 years old. Loved the Seminole riding out on a horse, Mike pulling him off the horse and pretending to scalp him.

And then choked up against Tulane and lost to Nebraska in the Orange Bowl

November 1982...single most up-and-down month in LSU football's entire history. Started out the month shocking #11 Bama for the first time in 11 years, then got upset by a bad Mississippi State team (which had just lost 6 straight games) ending any chance of winning the SEC title, then blew out #7 FSU (which had just won 7 straight games) by 5 TDs, then got upset by a 3-7 Tulane squad. People started questioning Stovall.
