So you went to a UF 24/7 site and now you are shocked that they are "confident".

It's not just confidence, some of it is pure stupidity. Miss St DC held Fournette to 38 yards last year (on 7 attempts mind you), so they think that he'll do the same for Florida. At the same time he failed to remember that Auburn's fired DC held Fournette to 42 yards on 10 carries last year, but with a supposedly improved DC and defense, they held Fournette to 228 yards and 3 TDs on just 19 carries this year.

These nuts think they'll be able to hold Fournette under 100 yards and beat us 24-10 at night in DV?

I just don't get the point in getting all up in arms because a UF forum has posters trying to spin the situation and sound positive.

I love it when they're confident.

This. You guys seem pretty confident too, should UF posters be all angry?

I'm not. It's actually funny to me.

Their strength was not Grier. Their secondary is their strength. Fortunately, we are not a pass happy team. Their QB won't make that big of a difference in their success..

This- honestly, I don't think there's a complete team in the SEC this season it's all about matchups-- We match up perfectly with Ole Miss and TAMU, TAMU and Ole Miss match up perfectly with Bama, Bama matches up well with you guys, etc-- every team is missing one or two pieces-- thankfully so is the rest of the country, the only question is if someone gets out of the conference with fewer than two losses.

They were confident when they had a great defense last year, and Dante Fowler. Fournette hung about 150 on them. They are lack serious depth at LB I hear. Would not be over confident on either team.

All you need to know........

Spurrier left UF because he was fed up with the fans sense of entitlement and wasn't afraid to let them know how he felt about the issue.

Another thing in our favor is that Kevin Steele is running that defense. He is as big of a drop off from Chavis as Muschamp is to Mac. He was the architect of the worst defensive performance in BCS game history while at Clemson. They gave up 70 to WVU. In a BCS bowl game. That's pitiful. I still can't believe Miles hired him.

Guess we'll know what we have at DC after this game then.

Florida fans have been like this for a long time. They always seem to talk down on their opponents and all appear to dislike miles due to the fake fg a few years ago.

The best offense UF has played is UT

Dobbs rushed for 136 & Hurd for 102

We have the best Oline & RB in the league

Well we are playing at night and are 7-8 point favorites and your biggest weakness on defense is stopping the run....so there's that

We font think 15-0. We think 14-0. Again...you are a big underdog and don't match up well with LSU.

We can beat them, but the replacement QB is experienced. It will be a close game.
