First SEC game, how’s the crowd?

With the game being at 6:30, and this is my first time ever going to a SEC game, what is a good time to get there?
Assume I have kids and need to wait for babysitter so I’m trying to figure out a good time to drop them off and go.
Is 2pm too late for parking? When should I get there? I don’t mind parking by the Agriculture building

If you get there at 2pm you will most likely have to park across the city

For your first SEC game and this one being it
I would have plans to drop the kids around 12:30, so that you can be on campus for 1:00-1:30 latest
4.5 hours to tailgate and then be sure to be in stadium by 6:15. Looks like the band starts at 6:30 and kickoff is 6:44

The 6:15-6:45 stadium fill will be something to see

I am not tailgating, but will have people that will want to walk around and hang out.

Be there before noon. The pregame walk down the hill for players, then the band is something you need to experience! This will happen shortly after 4:00.
