Can’t explain it, but I truly hated this team. There were players I really liked: Delane, Haulcey, Cooley, Green. But for the most part, I despised the rest.

You can't compare teams from pre-NIL teams to now.
LSU paid almost $20 million dollars for the garbage we watched all season long.

He said he hates the team not just that they suck. This team is trash and they don't have many likable players.

I didn’t because they weren't making 20 million dollars as a team salary. We didn't have good coaching and we didn’t have a nice facility or work out room or anything else.
This team had everything handed to them. So we should all hate them.

Defense had some badass moments throughout. 5 Lagway pics were memorable.

This is the only LSU team I ever really remember watching that regressed. We were not this bad in the opening weeks.
Some of it is just how much they care though — I didn’t see much fight in the first half and it took a few screw jobs before it looked like we were in the game tonight. Should’ve been able to walk away with a W

I can’t say I hate this team, but this is the first season I hated watching LSU play. Even two years ago I didn’t hate it as much when our defense couldn’t stop anyone because at least we had a Heisman winner keeping us in the game. This year it was like pulling teeth.
