re: First ACCEPTABLE Season Opener Loss, and it Will be Kelly's Last

It's not acceptable even if you view Clemson as the better team and LSU being on the road. LSU is more than talented enough to beat Clemson on the road. If you can't get it done here you're not getting it done come playoff time.

First post here and y'all will probably send me to the gallows but here goes!
You started the post very similar to the kiasportage alter account had 20 something posts ever and showed up to troll yesterday. 99% chance this is an alter. Probably 65% it’s the same a-hole.

Why would the team continue to care enough about the rest of the games if it WILL be the end of the world if they lose that game? Love these doomsday posts

Clemson is favored and expected to win. Should LSU win it would be an upset.

Utter nonsense. You assume playing at home means nothing since in the CFP bracket only the 1st round games play at anyone's home stadium. The other obvious flaw in your rant is that some teams improve more than others during the regular season. You see it all the time. Team A beats Team B and then later on Team B gets revenge on Team A. The most obvious LSU example was LSU in 2011...beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa and then lost in the CG.

All you idiots who get your pussy hurt with this "fit" bullshite. Who is such a great fit in your opinion? I really hate this board.

Nevermind not gonna argue with an alter

That might apply normally but I don't think it would here. This is a big game. It's hyped up for a reason. They're pounding it in the head of the players you have to win this game. If LSU loses it pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the season. You can view it how you want but I see this as a major negative that will set LSU back because I don't think they're making a run through their SEC schedule as is.
There's going to be surprise losses in there. It's entirely possible LSU starts the season 1-2 with Florida being quite underrated with an elite QB. Same can be said for South Carolina. Literally nobody in the media is talking about these teams but they're both setup to surprise in the SEC and do way better than projections.
LSU needs this game way more than Clemson does because Clemson can sleepwalk through the weak ACC, win the ACC, and still get their automatic bid. I can see LSU potentially missing the playoffs because of a few losses they shouldn't lose happen in the SEC because it's simply more competitive.
Plus you have to shed that entire mindset of 5 straight opening day losses which is not a good look for BK even if he didn't lose them all. It's going to take LSU probably half a season to mesh this team together chemistry wise from all the portal additions so don't be surprised if they let a team like Florida sneak up on them at home.

Fat Woodward will give him a raise and extension.

This is why CBK took the contract, he knows LSU will not buy him out until maybe year 6 or 7, so he is just coasting along. Why should he GAF if he wins or loses an opener. Now he has said this is his best roster, so he will have another 9-4 season and hope he walks away with 60mil.... CBK is not the fit for LSU.
Well, based on his recruiting activity, portal signings, and coaches coming in, I’d say that he’s not coasting along at all. Dumbass.

Who is then? Orgeron was the biggest culture fit this program has ever had. He set it back years in the end. Dumbass.
Look, I’m not thrilled with the records we’ve had under Kelly, but he’s doing pretty much every-fricking-thing you’d expect from a coach in order to take the next step.
So maybe, just shut the frick up?

Here is the issue with the previous opening losses. LSU came out flat and apparently not prepared for the season. This is unacceptable. BK better have this team ready to play. If they slug it out and lose by one score, I can understand this, but if LSU comes out like they did the last two years, then the fan base will be screaming.
I disagree with you about last year.
They didn’t come out flat, they choked it away.

It’s such a stupid argument.
What makes a good fit for a program? It’s as vague of a term as you can conceive. It is completely undefinable.

So, considering what was in the cupboard when he got here the year 1 loss wasn't acceptable?
