I'm tired of reading bad information. Believe me if you want or don't. First off I think that O is the GOAT interim coach and a hell of a recruiter. That being said he totally fricked the OC hire last year. Canada was hired without really discussing what type of offense he wanted to run. Their first meeting after the hire, Canada tells O that he wants to run 4 wide, O tells him you can't run 4 wide our we don't have the personnel. Next Canada tells him he wants to run up tempo, O tells him you can't run up tempo we don't have the d line depth. Canada tells O that he wants to start the freshman qb, O tells him can't start the freshman we have to start the senior. Canada asks O "what the frick do you need me for?", and it went downhill from there.

O was under pressure because of his own statement to hire the best oc in America, when Kiffin fell through he panicked. He never wanted Canada, nor did he allow him to run his offense. If you watched Maryland beat Texas, that was Canada's offense not that bs jet sweep action that we got last year.

Canada did not want to be here anymore, so your point is somewhat irrelevant. Canada is not setting the world on fire in Maryland. he has played two god awful teams and the numbers are OK. I will say, the LSU offensive culture has been pretty piss poor since Saban left - no identity, no clue, no consistency. I am willing t give them another year, but quite frankly, there is not a whole lot of talent on this offense. QB, RB O-Line are average to good. We will see how the receivers do if they get the ball to them. The defense is good, but the offense will make their job harder. Canada would have struggled as well with the offense and for some reason we can't find a HC that will get the hell out of their own way. BTW Tom Herman looks like crap at TX - he most likely would look like crap here to. The real problem at LSU is Skip Bertman sucked at hiring and he got us the dipshite AD we have now.

Maryland and Canada will get a dose of reality in two weeks as Big 10 play starts for them. Right now Ole Miss could put up 45 on Texas as could South Carolina and Bowling Green is not that good this year and next up is Temple for them get back to me after game 5....if they are undefeated and LSU is sill struggling on offense, then I'll probably agree whole heartedly.

BTW Canada is a dieck......huge dieck from what I undestand. It was Aranda that wanted him gone just as bad as Orgeron
