BK won’t be on the hot seat until 2027. Very few programs have that kind of money, and who’s to say the replacement is going to be any better.
With all things considered, he won’t win a championship but he did save LSU from becoming Florida and we were about a season away from doing that.
Woodward still made the right call. He was a safe and low risk hire. Did we overpay? Yes. But it was the right call. We were not in a position to take a chance on an up and comer. 9-3 is still very respectable and keeps us on the cusp of being really great.

He came to the SEC to beat Saban. He beat Saban. Saban is no longer here. He can resign.

Woodward doesn’t really have a decision. The decision lies with the big donors because only they can get rid of BK early. Woodward doesn’t have $50M -$60M lying around.
As an AD he’s proven to be a good fundraiser. Being able to determine “fit” for a program? That’s questionable
