Nobody is saying we have to win the CWS every year ;however, the past 5 years retard LSU fans ASSume if we win the West/ dominate the regular season, and get a national seed we'll do fine in the post season. It's a totally new season and CPM hasn't done a good job in the post season the past 5 years!! Hopefully the rough start gave our team , and coaches the focus they needed to push for a title this year.

I just couldn't resist. College baseball has changed. People act like PM came in loaded. He didn't. His 2007 team sucked bad. He built a program back up and won a title in 3 years. He's not perfect but he's damn good. A lot more parity now, he's been as consistent as any program in the country while he has been here and the firing talk was just absurd.

Just like CLM was good at avg 10 W seasons - but not beating Bama and NOT getting over the hump to WIN a title. Could've proved a LOT of naysayers wrong in Jan 2012. Oops.

Everyone wants and thinks LSU is capable of having the same run as the 90s and that just is not realistic. No team has dominated a decade since LSU. Nobody in the 2000s and nobody in the 2010s. There is clearly much more parity. Anyone who wants to fire a coach who is knocking on the door of getting a 6th straight national seed is just out of touch with reality.
Look at South Carolina and Vandy. Two teams who have had great success in the last 5-10 years aren't maintaining the same consistency.
